So you’ve bought or received an Elonex One or One+. Though designed and marketed towards educational use, these little machines are far more versatile than than just toy computer.

The Elonex One runs a variant of the Linux operating system, this variant is known as Linos and is one of the reasons that The One can be sold so cheaply. There is in effect no ‘Windows Tax’! You may be a little disappointed to find that Microsoft Windows or Office isn’t loaded on your One but don’t let that limit your imagination. There is a whole world of software out there ready to be loaded and used on your One along with various pieces of hardware that can be connected.
